How awesome, beautiful and powerful… The presence of the Lord!
To stand in His presence… It allows you to really see who you are.
At times so thick that you feel you could reach out and touch it…
And yet, it is hugging you close, touching you.
The things it does to your heart, changes the bitterness that you try to hold…
Creating a yearning to just let go…
Really, for what else can matter when you stand in His presence?
His Majesty, His Glory, His Truth…
Wow… What small insignificant trifles we hold onto, what disbelief, what complacency…
In His presence… It no longer matters
So, when we walk away from his presence, should we pick it back up and hold it a little while longer? Or should we leave it at that place where it doesn’t matter… And begin to focus on what really matters… Bringing others into His Presence…
