Yesterday, I noticed that my last post was August 5th, 2013… so I thought today would be the best day to start again. Â God has been dealing with me in my prayer time, and bible reading. Â I have so many thoughts in my mind of sermon ideas, and just notes that I want to jot down and not forget, and I figured this would be as good a place as any.
I have been extremely blessed over the last year.  God has shown up and shown out, and I give him glory and praise for all that he has done.  He has taught me, again, how to trust in him.  Not to give in to fear, doubt, or bitterness.  He is constantly showing me something new in my life that needs to be updated… as Romans 12:2 says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”  My mind needs to be renewed daily, casting away the thoughts of the world and seeking after the will of God.  His word also says, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4:8.
So, I’m on a journey to walk closer to the Lord, He is the only one that can bring about true change. Â And, I am ready for it!
