The apostles went to Jerusalem from Mount Olivet, which is a Sabbath days journey… and went into the upper room… There was Peter, James, John, Andrew, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, James (Alphaeus), Simon and Judas (brother of James).  They were with one accord in prayer and supplication with the women, Mary and brethren.

Peter stood and said to the 120… Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, concerning Judas.  For he was part of them and part of the ministry.

“Judas purchased a field (Potters field) with his reward of iniquity.  Field of blood.  Let his habitation be no mans dwelling, and let is bishopric be given to another.”

Out of the men who accompanied them, beginning with the Baptism of John to the day Christ was taken..he must be ordained to be a witness with us of his ressurection.

They appointed 2, Joseph called Barabas, whose surname was Justus and Mathias.  They prayed, that the Lord knowing hearts of all men, who shall take part in this ministry (from Judas).  They gave forth their lots and the lot fell upon Mathias.  Hew as numbered with the 11 Apostles.
